Senior Director of Communications & Marketing Joins the Team
WASHINGTON (November 22, 2021) – The Diesel Technology Forum welcomes Jessica Puchala as the Senior Director of Communications & Marketing of the not-for-profit organization. The organization represents global leaders in advanced engines, equipment and fuels with a diverse education, research, communications, and outreach portfolio.
“The Forum operates at the intersection of technology, public policy and the future. Jessica brings a deep, and wide, communicator’s view and skill set, along with public and private sector experience that will play a central role in leading our strategic communications activities,” says Executive Director Allen Schaeffer.
Puchala has held progressively responsible positions in various communications roles for many national, and international, brands. She’s also volunteered with large political campaigns and non-profits.
Puchala says, “There’s a great story about where, how, and why diesel technology fits in the future. I’m looking forward to working with our incredible member companies to help tell their story – the industry story of progress and potential.”
Her career started in television news. She has produced, reported for, and anchored newscasts throughout the country.
Puchala has been recognized for her work many times, with honors from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the National Association of Government Communicators, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials and local chapters of the Public Relations Society of America.
